(1) Three "small" scenarios from the full game. You can play these scenarios from both sides
(either as the French or the Anglo-Allies).

HOW TO GIVE UNITS/LEADERS COMMANDS
Selecting Units/Leaders: To select a unit or leader, move the mouse arrow over the unit or
leaderÆs flag. A yellow selection box appears. Now click the left mouse button. The unit or
leader is selected and a bright yellow highlight appears around the flag. This unit or leader
is now ready to receive a command.
Giving a Leader a Command: Selecting a leader gives you control of the units under his command. There
are four different types of leaders: Army, Corps, Division, and Brigade. Only Division and Brigade
leaders command troops in the field. Army and Corps leaders do not command troops, but are useful for
rallying Routed units (see p. 27) and gathering together large groups of artillery to form grand
batteries. To give orders to the troops of a Brigade or Division leader, follow this procedure:
(1) With the leader selected, hold down the left mouse button and drag the movement arrow across the
battlefield.
(2) With the left mouse button pressed, drag the movement arrow to any location on the field.
(3) Once youÆve found a spot you like, release the left mouse button. The movement arrow of the leader
remains on the field and the leader moves in that direction.
(4) Now, immediately select one of the "active" command buttons. The units under the selected leaderÆs
control move to the location and take the shape of the Formation Command selected, or perform the particular
Administrative Command selected (see p. 18). Alternatively, you can move a commander and his units together
by using the DRAG+SHIFT feature. See p. 13 for details.
Giving a Unit a Command: To give an individual unit a command, select the unit. Hold the left mouse button down
and drag the unitÆs movement arrow to the desired location, and then select the command you wish to give. That
unit will move to the desired location and perform the command youÆve given it.
RIGHT-CLICK HELP
To receive immediate online help about any of the command buttons and info bar displays, right-click on the
item in question. A help message box appears giving you details about the function/display.
